It isn't possible to hide songs on Spotify on the web or desktop version. As such, here's how to hide songs on Spotify for Android and iOS.

When it comes to hiding songs on the Spotify app, you can do it in two steps. First, open up the song by searching it or through a playlist.

Then, select the three dots icon next to the songs name to open more options. Next, tapHide song. Once you successfully hide a song, it will be grayed out and have a red button next to it.

To retrieve a hidden Spotify song on iOS and Android, you must first set Spotify to show unplayable songs.

To do this, open your Spotify app and select Settings > Playback. Then, toggle Hide Unplayable Songs to the left.

Next, go to the playlist of the song that you have hidden. Scroll down until you have found the song that you have hidden and press the Hide button. Then, the recovered song will be playable from your playlist instantly.
