This is the best wax I've used. Lovely smooth finish, great fragrance through both hot and cold. Also I find it so much easier and less messy to use when "chipped" as opposed to a solid block. (Posted on 8/04/2021)Value Quality Price - Not so sureReview by cathy

I had major problems with tunnelling with this wax. Tried pouring at recommended temperature then tried reducing the temperature by 5 degrees for each new try. Nothing seems to work. (Posted on 3/11/2020)Price Value Quality - LOVE THE WAX!!!!!!!Review by Sarah

I've been testing waxes for 8 months now - tried them all - made my own blends - mixed this with that. For some reason C3 didn't come up on my radar.Price Value Quality Oh my - what a wonderful wax to work with. You can seriously treat this wax mean and the tops are so beautiful. The reset is lovely - especially compared to most others out there. I use the Chandler a lot for testing and it works perfectly with it.
I can't honestly comment on HT and CT. I'm not experienced enough to know whether it's good, bad or indifferent. It's not noticeably different to me either way compared to the others that I have tried and so for this reason I have finally, FINALLY found my wax.
If you haven't tied it - it's seriously worth a test. (Posted on 15/02/2019)

This is my first attempt at candle-making and the C3 is just amazing. Pouring a little hot the first time and it only got a little cloudy. The wife still loves them (Posted on 17/06/2018)Price Value Quality - Kyanna KandlesReview by Kelly

I purchased a small bag of C3 to try as I have always used GW464. The jar adhestion was great and I loved the smooth tops my candles have. I dont colour my wax and this white creamy colour is fantastic. Ready to make the switch. (Posted on 4/05/2018)Price Value Quality - Hard to change to anything else! LOVEReview by Megan

I love this wax! I haven't had any problems with it so far. They always come out smooth and creamy with no adhesion problems, higher pour temps suit this wax well. I have never had to do top ups either. It's comforting to use knowing your product is going to come out well. (Posted on 24/01/2018)Price Value Quality - I love C3Review by Kylie

I absolutely love this wax. Tops are always smooth, great cold and hot scent throw, easy to use and less troublesome and great adhesion. I have been making candles for almost 4 years. I've tried a couple of different types of wax and always go back to C3. I most recently found some 464 that I had so decided to use it up and it was terrible, most had lumpy tops (which could just be me, but don't get this when using C3). Would highly recommend this wax to any candle maker. (Posted on 8/12/2017)Value Quality Price - Love C3Review by Candle making by the sea

Great wax easy to work with perfect tops if poured over 70d. Both hot and cold throw is excellent. A little tricky to wick larger jars may need to wick up or twin wick as C3 likes a hotter wick then other waxes.Quality Price Value

Just over 2 years ago as a hobby a fiend and I ordered all the supplies needed. Fell in love with c3 wax from the get go. Smooth finish and creamy white colouring of wax gives it that professional look, depending on the weather I may have frosting happen. But if I do it's minimal, nothing a label can't cover up or the use of a coloured container can't hide. A much more professional look then some of the expensive branded candles that are on the market, been told this from friends that I have made candles for prompted me to start up my own little candle business? It's only small and from home but because of the c3 wax I'm am making some pocket money from my hobby. (Posted on 12/01/2016)Price Value Quality - Very impressedReview by Shinyi

I bought the starter pack a couple of weeks ago and have used almost all of this 4kg soy wax. It's of great quality and throws scent very well. The tops are always smooth and even, virtually no caving in. Though I've been having problems with wet spots and adhesion, but I suspect it's my method and not the wax. Will continue using this wax.Value Quality Price I would also like to say that Candle Supply is very professional, always very quick with processing and delivery. I am very impressed with the company, products and service! (Posted on 12/01/2015)

After testing many different waxes this is by far the best! and the only one I use for my candle business.Quality Price Value This wax requires a wick that burns hot and has a flawless finish on every candle once you have mastered the pouring temp.
Pre-heating the jars is essential with this wax, excluding the tins. This soy wax has the best hot scent throw of any others that I've worked with. You can push the FO load abit but it is a fine line and that tiny bit to much will result in minimal hot scent throw.
Watch your wicks with this wax. Some struggle with getting a consistent melt pool within an appropriate time frame.
My advice.. TEST TEST TEST. Think outside the box and don't be afraid to use different brands of wicks for different size containers to get the best result.

Nature Way -C3 100% soy was the first wax I used. Being fairly new to candle making i decided that I should try something different therefore purchased the Advanced ecosoya. Deciding to test the wax on one of the jars I used with the C3, the first pour that I did ending up having a huge wet spot which I never got with the C3. At the moment I am testing my wicks for the jars that I have recently purchased, therefore don't want to change back to C3...But I see the remains in my old bag and wish so much that I had stuck to that wax, as working with it was easy and less troublesome as other waxes, which I am only now finding out. Would definitely recommend C3 as a wax, particular for jars, uncolored the wax looks quite stunning. (Posted on 29/06/2014)Price Value Quality - Happy Days!!Review by Karen

I tried this wax on recommendation from Candle Supply. It delivered very thing they said it would, great cold and hot scent throw, great glass adhesion and smooth creamy surface. I did preheat my glassware as the temperature was a bit coolers when pouring. Try this wax as this is now the only container wax I will use. Thanks Candle Supply! I love this wax. I've used a couple of others but find this one to be the best... I have no problem with adhesion and since I also only make white candles, have no probs with frosting. Since I worked out that this pours better over 70d I have not had a problem with uneven surfaces either. Perfect stuff (Posted on 1/01/2013)Price Value Quality - Will be repurchasingReview by LighttheWay

I know it's too soon to be writing a review on this wax when I only just received my two bags literally yesterday... BUT! I have already finished one large 5kg bag already. That says quite a bit! I am quite pleased with this wax, very very minimal frosting only the slightest frosting I've seen. I have had wet-spots still occurring however but they don't bother me too much anymore. I will still be experimenting with pour temperature to see if any differences can be made. One downfall to this wax is how messy it is, I find that this wax is really stubborn to clean off as it adheres really well to whatever surface it comes in contact with (but not to my jars!!) so that really is a pain to clean. Although I don't mind cleaning the tricky mess it's worth it with this wax. I know I will love this product a lot during my business years! I'm really happy with this wax, it works well for me once I worked out my pour temps for diffrent jars... Least frosting i've seen so far -depending on your pour temp!!! ;) Was fun playing around with this one, i'm quiet pleased with it & myself for working out what jars need to be poured at what temp!!! Great scent throw!! (Posted on 16/08/2012)Value Quality Price - GoodReview by Addy

I have tried a few different waxes and my biggest problem was adhesion and frosting. I find adhesion using C3 is great, I haven't noticed any frosting as I only make white candles, scent throw seems to be good too. My customers haven't noticed the change in wax so that is a good thing too! The only downfall which is only a small one is having to reheat the occasional top (Posted on 15/03/2012)Price Value Quality - Seems to be pretty goodReview by Richard

This wax from the testing I have done pours with very nice tops and minimal wet spots. It could be a challenge in regards to wicking after using a 464 / palm blend.Price Value Quality Seems to want somewhat larger wicks n my apothecary jars, which will be the test as I don't generally double wick and am not keen to start now.
Whether I keep with this wax or stay with 464 will depend on whether I can get my particular jars single wicked using this wax.
Both Hot Throw & Cold Throw are great, and wax looks great which is a big plus. (Posted on 7/03/2012)

- From jamie king at 23/08/2015 10:58 pm
- how do you use container maker?
Do you blend it in with my usual soy wax?
Or use it on its own?
What measurements are best if your making individual jars?Help!!!!
- Hi Jamie. We do not sell container maker we suggest if you are using one of our soy waxes then hydrogenated coconut wax is a great solution depending on what you are trying to achieve. Make 10% coconut wax the starting point. CS

- Hello I was just wondering what temperatures you melt this wax to and what temp you pour it at. Also when do you put the colour in and the fragrance? thank you Lynette
- Hi Lynette. 85deg is the temp to melt to, add fragrance and pour at, melt colour separately unless it is liquid. CS

- From Shaylee Smith at 8/02/2016 12:58 pm
- I am using this wax in the glass fiesta jars.
When the wax sets, around the outside of the jar in some places it looks like the wax has come away from the glass? Does this make sense and how can I stop this? - Hi Shaylee, Adhesion issues are normal when working with candle wax and most relate to temperature. To help reduce this there are a few things you can do. 1. wash clear glass in the dishwasher without soap. 2. Warm the glass up to 25 to 30DegC 3. Make sure your pouring temperature is around 85degC. 4. Try not to move the candles until they have set. 5. ideal room temperature is around 25DegC. Please contact customer service if you have any further questions and we will be happy to help in any way we can. customerservice@candlesupply.com.au . CS

- From Mirjana Juka at 28/11/2016 8:09 am
- Hello,
I have two questions:
1. Can you please clarify at what temp do you melt the C3 wax? On the description above it says "above 75deg", but on the info about the wax it says 55 deg.
2. On your front page there is a picture of a lime small candle. Is it possible to buy the small white container? I can't find it on your website?
Many thanks, Mirjana
- Hi Mirjana,
as noted on the website, the C3 wax just mets at 55 deg, for the best candle making results the wax should be poured above 75 deg and can be poured up to up to 85, you should not exceed 85 deg
Unfortunately the small white container on the front page is no longer a stock item due to supply challenges
